Committed to 2025

As we enter Grand Final week, we have some very exciting announcements on the horizon, starting with none other than all four Senior Captains recommitting for 2025. Not only do these fine young men lead the senior playing group, but each individual continues to be part of a successful formula on the ground.

@Tim De Geest has been the Senior Captain for the past two seasons. He does an extraordinary amount of work around the club and consistently maintains a positive demeanour that naturally draws in others around him. Add to that some high quality footy this season and you can see why we are so thrilled.

@Dale Hehir is a name synonymous with leadership and class. He always strives to be the best he can be and his best this season has been something to behold. As a leader, he listens with empathy, but also delivers with conviction. We couldn’t be happier that Dale has committed to Scoresby in 2025.

@Cooper Frith has been a Vice Captain over the past two seasons. In 2023, he was awarded with the Best & Fairest and his game continues to evolve into something others can only admire. His commitment, passion and work rate are second to none, which will drive our club for years to come.

@Declan McBean joined the group of captains at the beginning of this season. In just his second year at the club, he has embraced the club’s values and continues to find ways to make us all better. Players appreciate the personal connection he makes with each individual and spectators appreciate the quality football he produces.
